Online Business Goals

Online Business Goals

If you don’t drive your business, you will be driven out of business. – B.C Forbes

Nothing is easier than starting a business except failing with that business. Whether you have decided to start a brick and mortar busines or an online business the easy part will be starting the business. You can put up a website with a store front and call it a business in less than an hour. That is the easy part. The difficult part is designing a business that is built to last.

A business needs both short and long term goals. You need to understand not only how to start it, but how to maintain the business and the early momentum, if there is any, that you have achieved. I designed this website to help other online business people to find way to grow their businesses.

Let’s look at a few goals that you have started with.

Building a brand name so that your business will become known to the general public.

Reaching a broader customer base through advertising such as email marketing.

Earning money. I not sure that all of you are aware of the fact that most businesses exist to earn money. There primary goal is cash flow. It should first pay for its existence. It has to generate enough cash to cover hosting fees and the cost of domains and advertising. Next it need to put money in your pocket. The site that you are visiting right now has a number of ways that it covers the cost of its existence and this is not even a store site. This information site pays for itself through adsense revenue. Through commissions from those who have signed up for hosting packages through hostgator and purchased domains. It also puts money in my pocket through the sale of my ebooks. Ebooks are a fantastic way to generate extra income from the written content at your site.

My advice for you is to take a day and consider what are the core business goals of your website or online business. Work or refocusing those goals if you are not earning the cash flow that you believe that you should.

Business, Hustling Harder

Business, Hustling Harder

Your job as a business person begins and ends with the word competition.

You are competing with every other business in your chosen field. Sitting around and waiting for things to happen is the worst thing that you can do. You must always be engaged and proactive. Picture yourself in a row boat on a raging river. Would you sit back and trust the currents to take you where ever they were racing toward or would you hold fast to the oars and row with all that you had in you every time that you sensed trouble?

Have you been sitting back and hoping that things would come your way?

Have you been trusting to luck?

I got news for you. There is no such thing as luck. You make your own luck. The businesses that thrive do not do this because they are luckier than the rest. They thrive because they are run by men and women who constantly adjust and adapt to whatever situation that the new day presents.

You are going to have to learn how to out hustle the competition. To grow your business you are going to have to do try new things and be willing to fail. We grow and change by constantly trying new ways to approach the problems that confront us each and every day.

What I want you to do today is to examine your business. Figure out what you are doing well and what you could do better. Come up with a plan to correct your weakest areas and move as quickly as possible to make those corrections.
Does this sound hard?
Easy or difficult does not matter because in the end we do what we must do to not only survive, but to thrive. Good luck with your online business and take a moment to like this post on stumbleupon.

The Reward Of Business Risk

The Reward Of Business Risk

-Every day, you’ll have opportunities to take chances and to work outside your safety net. Sure, it’s a lot easier to stay in your comfort zone.. in my case, business suits and real estate.. but sometimes you have to take risks. When the risks pay off, that’s when you reap the biggest rewards. Donald Trump –

Nothing is ever achieved by standing still except falling behind. You have started a business. The business is going well, but you have reached to point where you believe that if you tinker with it you many mess something up.

My question to you is this. Are you a business person or are you playing at being a business person?

A good online business person takes calculated risk from time to time. A person who has no clue what they are doing or how they got there in the first place sits on what has been done already and trust to luck that things will magically continue to work out.

Is that any way to run a business?

Is that what you have been doing?

Does that sound like a winning business plan?

If it does not then you need to investigate the options available to you and take the safest ones first. Learn through trial and error or better yet free trials and errors. There are so many services out there that can help you grow your business and add dynamic elements to your business. Many of them offer you free trials to see what their services can do for you. Why not take advantage of these services. Check them out and see if they improve your bottom line.
Allow me to introduce you to two services that offer free trials and can help to grow your businesses.

Both services are well-known and are used by thousands of businesses, maybe your direct competition uses some of them.
